Molded Gratings

The molded fiberglass grating can be used in many industrial applications for the choice of chemical resistant flooring or the decoration for exterior wall which offers long maintenance-free performance.

Features

Customized cutting can be offered for efficient usage and minimize the grating waste. Comparing to the traditional metallic gratings, fiberglass gratings have much lighter in weight. For the safety purpose, anti-skid concave surface and gritted top are available upon request. Smooth surface on both sides is also available on request for decoration usage.

Materials of Construction
Molded grating is composed of fiberglass rovings combined with thermosetting resin systems. Fibrotec offers different choice of four thermosetting resin systems for different level of chemical environmental.
  • Vinyl Ester Resin: for high chemical resistance
  • Isophthalic Polyester Resin: for industrial applications
  • Orthophthalic Polyester Resin: for architectural or other applications with less corrosion problems
  • Phenolic Resin: for high fire retardant applications with extra fire resistance (a flame spread rating of 10 or less)
 Fire resistance property is also available for Vinyl Ester Resin, Isophthalic Polyester Resin and Orthophthalic Polyester Resin. We offer wide range of colors for each resin systems.

Sizes and Availability

Variety of sizes is available in:

  • 15mm thick 20x20mm, or 38x38mm or 50x50mm Square
  • 20mm thick 38x38mm Square
  • 25mm thick 19x19mm or 40x40 Square
  • 25mm thick  25x100 Rectangle
  • 30mm thick 13x13 mm or 20x20mm or 40x40mm Square
  • 38mm thick 20x20mm or 40x40mm Square
  • 38mm thick 38x100mm or 25x150mm Rectangle
  • 50mm thick 25x25mm or 50x50mm Square
  • 60mm thick 38x38mm Square

Custom mesh sizes, check cover top, concave surface, gritted surface, smooth top are upon request.

Standard cutting sizes of the majority of grating type are available in:

  • 1000x2000 mm, 1225x2000 mm
  • 1000x3000 mm, 1225x3000 mm
Custom cutting sizes are available upon request.
